The Shakespeare Line

The Shakespeare Line brings poetry to passengers traveling along the railway line from Birmingham Moor Street to Stratford-upon-Avon. With 18 specially commissioned poems by renowned poets including former Birmingham poet laureates, each poem is associated with one of the stations on the route. Travellers can access these poems through the OVERHEAR app while at stations or onboard trains, enhancing their journey with literary enrichment that explores local history, the significance of the railway, and the natural beauty along the line.
