Welcome to our FAQ section! Here, you can find quick answers to common questions about our app. We aim to make it easy for you to understand how to navigate and enjoy all the features we offer. If you have something else on your mind, feel free to reach out to us.
How does the app work?
Pick a pin on the main map screen and take a walk to find it. When you arrive wait for the play screen to appear and hit play. Square pins need to be tapped to bring up the QR Scanner for QR collections.
To Record, make sure you are logged in and hit the + symbol in the bottom bar.
Can I share audio with friends?
You can share a project with freinds to add their own recordings to. Also our Postbox feature means you can send audio to a friends set location which they can collect messages from.
What types of content can I find?
The OVERHEAR app hosts a lot of location specific poetry but also short stories and oral histories along with music and field recordings. All are connected to the location in some way.
Is the app available on all devices?
Yes! You can download from the Google Play store and the Apple app store.
